JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The South Jackson Resilience Hub and Opportunity Center is open inside the former Marshall Elementary School.
The project is led by One Voice and offers job opportunities, after-school care and other resources for South Jackson.
Nsombi Lambright-Haynes said several community initiatives will be housed in the building.
“Right now, there are a number of community initiatives that will be housed in here that will have information about those things. We’ll have a clinic in here; we’ll also have community space for organizations that are doing that work,” Lambright-Haynes said.
One Voice partnered with the Minority Contractors Association of Mississippi, the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, Operation Good Foundation, Solace Mississippi Move and 4Ever Caring on the project.
