MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a woman accused of pepper spraying a member of her family.

According to deputies around 2:46 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call on Raspberry Lane in the Cordova area.

When deputies arrived, they found that family members had gotten into a verbal disagreement, where one family member used pepper spray against the other.

SCSO says a female suspect was taken into custody and is now facing an assault charge.
