Warming Trend Returns: 80s Possible by Week’s End
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -After a cool start to the week, a warming trend will take over. Highs will reach the low 70s today and climb into the upper 70s to low 80s by Thursday and Friday as high pressure settles overhead, keeping conditions dry through the workweek.
By Friday night and into the weekend, a cold front will move in, bringing scattered rain chances back to central Mississippi. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light, around a quarter to half an inch, and another cool down is anticipated early next week.
