OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) – The Ole Miss Rebels have capped their regular season campaign with a 26-14 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Egg Bowl.

The Rebels improve their overall record to 9-3 and 5-3 in the Southeastern Conference.

The Bulldogs fall to 2-10 overall and 0-8 in conference play in head coach Jeff Lebby’s first year.

Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart broke the school record for career passing yards, surpassing the previous record set by Eli Manning.

According to The Athletic, the senior needed just 49 yards to claim the record. He passed for approximately 80 yards in the first half.
