Two in custody after Sharkey County homicide

SHARKEY CO., Miss. (WLBT) – The Sharkey County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating after a homicide in Anguilla, Mississippi, Friday night.

According to officials, two suspects are now in custody.

“The Sharkey County Sheriff’s Department is working diligently and around the clock to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice,” officials wrote in a statement.

No further information has been released at this time.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
