Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Italian wedding pictures: See inside their lavish nuptials

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Kourtney Kardashian wore a white lace mini dress with a silk corset to marry husband Travis Barker at a medieval castle overlooking the sea in Portofino, Italy on Sunday evening during the couple’s third wedding celebration.

She walked down the aisle with her mother, Kris Jenner, by her side, and wore a cathedral-length veil adorned with the image of the Virgin Mary and delicate floral appliques to match her scalloped hem dress, all of which was designed by legendary fashion house Dolce & Gabbana.

The 43-year-old “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star wore a towering pair of heels to walk down a host of stairs with the matriarch of the family at the Castello Brown where she met her groom, who was decked out in a black suit with a matching bow tie and shiny dress shoes.

Despite keeping her dress short and sweet, she added sheer, white finger-less gloves which mostly covered up her arms, but let her sparkling diamond rings stand out as she showed off a perfect manicure.

Her dark brown hair was fashioned into a classic updo with a voluminous bun adding even more height to her tiered veil, and she carried a few roses in her hands for a chic bouquet.

Jenner was clearly emotional as she gave away her firstborn child, and wiped away tears from her eyes with a tissue while wearing a stunning pink long-sleeved gown adorned with feathers and large sparkling rhinestones.

Travis, 46, wore a simple white rose pinned to his lapel as he paid homage to the No. 1 woman in his life, and showed off his new diamond wedding band as he held onto his bride’s hand shortly after the ceremony.

She took to Instagram with a series of snaps to mark the “happily ever after” occasion from famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth.

Opulence was everywhere for Kravis as they said “I do” in front of an ornate setting, with golden candelabras lining the altar which included a Madonna and child statue front-and-center.

Kourtney and Travis were joined by their combined six children for the small ceremony. She shares Mason; 12, Penelope; nine; and Reign; seven, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, who did not appear to be at the wedding despite a long history with the family and still starring on their Hulu reality show.

His 16-year-old daughter, Alabama, and 18-year-old son, Landon, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, detailed nearly every step of the way to the altar while on the Italian holiday as the family joined forces to become one powerful unit. Barker also co-parents Moakler’s daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, from her Shanna’s previous relationship with professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

Alabama dressed to impress wearing a nude, tulle off-the-shoulder gown to match Atiana’s, while Landon revealed a sparkling suit on social media.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian both wore black lace dresses to the romantic affair, where candles illuminated the altar, which was adorned with deep red roses to match a velvet floor with just a few rows of seats for their guests.

The famed designer was responsible for nearly every look of the week for Kourtney, Travis, and all of their famous family members, in addition to providing D&G themed locations, and allowing the wedding party to use Stefano Gabbana’s Regina d’Italia — the superyacht believed to be valued at $60 million.

It’s unclear if Kim’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, was able to make the destination wedding after fans speculated he could be in attendance just hours after signing off on his last episode of “Saturday Night Live.” The 28-year-old comedian said goodbyes to the sketch comedy show which made him a household name on Saturday after eight seasons.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ELDEST DAUGHTER OF THE FAMOUS REALITY STARS

Kourtney and Travis enlisted the help of her grandmother, Mary Jo (MJ) Campbell, and his father Randy, to witness their first legal wedding in the affluent neighborhood of Santa Barbara on May 15.

One month before, they had a “practice” wedding at a Las Vegas chapel following the Grammy Awards, with an Elvis Presley impersonator serving as their officiant.

“Yes, they got married after the awards show at 1:45 a.m. at my chapel, One Love Wedding Chapel. They called about 12:30 a.m.,” One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson told Fox News Digital at the time.

“My chapel is 24 hours, and they wanted to make sure I can get Elvis Presley,” he said. “I wasn’t sure if I could get Elvis, I said let me check and I got the Elvis, they paid online and they came in and got married.”

Couples turn to eco-friendly wedding elements as sustainability grows more popular: Report

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Today’s eco-conscious brides and grooms are stepping up to do their part to minimize wedding day waste.

Event venues and vendors are putting more effort into being eco-friendly, as Lauren Kay, an executive editor at The Knot, a leading wedding publication, told The Associated Press.

“A lot of vendors are really educating themselves on ways to be more sustainable in an effort to meet the demand,” she told the AP. “We’re seeing across the board much more interest and recognition around sustainability.”

The wedding magazine updated its annual Real Weddings Report for 2021 in February, which revealed that one in five couples said they incorporated “sustainable elements” to make their “wedding eco-friendly” last year.

BRIDE HAND-KNIT HER OWN WEDDING DRESS IN 9 MONTHS, SHOWS IT OFF ON TIKTOK

Nearly 70% of the 15,000 couples surveyed by The Knot told the publication they did or plan to — if they have a wedding in 2022 — include environmentally friendly activities and decor, such as buying secondhand or upcycled items, using recycled paper and minimizing single-use products and food waste.

Nearly one in three couples think that vendors “should be more proactive in providing eco-friendly suggestions” in addition to providing “transparent” sustainability practices, The Knot’s annual wedding survey also reported.

Sustainable wedding services that have caught couples’ eyes include wedding attire consignment or thrifting, accessory rentals, post-event food donations, faux flowers, recycled invitation paper, biodegradable products and clean energy sources.

NEWLYWEDS CREATE $240 ‘INVOICE’ TO TEACH WEDDING NO-SHOWS RSVP ETIQUETTE: ‘IT’S ABOUT INTEGRITY’

The Associated Press cited a real-life couple, Lena Kazer and Quinn Alvarez, of Los Angeles, as an example of one that held a sustainable wedding.

On Saturday, May 21, the couple tied the knot in their backyard with 38 of their closest friends and family.

Quinn Alvarez and Lena Kazer got married on May 21, 2022, in LA. The pair tied the knot in their backyard with 38 guests. Sustainable wedding elements they included were recyclable dinnerware, reused clothes and furniture. (Gayle Riedmann via AP)

They opted to use their household furniture in place of seating rentals, minimal floral decor, thrift-store ornaments, batch cocktails and recyclable or compostable dinnerware, including utensils, cups and plates.

Kazer wore her sister’s wedding dress and her mother’s veil, which gave the items a second life.

“Both of us are a little disgusted by the extravagance of the wedding industry.”

The couple also skipped a dress code, so guests could wear what they wanted instead of having to buy new outfits.

“Both of us are a little disgusted by the extravagance of the wedding industry,” Kazer told the AP. “We agreed we would use the resources that we have and avoid buying anything that we won’t continue to use.”

WHO PAYS FOR WHAT IN A WEDDING?

More than 2,492 miles away from Kazer and Alvarez in the northeast are Kate Winick and Sean Ir of New York, another eco-conscious couple who practiced sustainable wedding plans.

For their Sunday, May 22, wedding, Winick and Ir told the AP they planned to get married in Northport, New York, with a backyard wedding.

Kate Winick and Sean Ir got married in Northport, N.Y., on May 22, 2022. The couple told the AP they incorporated secondhand and reusable items into their wedding day. (Kate Winick via AP)

They opted to ditch anything that would only be used once or could end up in a trash bin in the near future, the couple said.

Items that couldn’t be skipped were bought secondhand.

“I don’t think living sustainably means you need a crunchy aesthetic,” Winick told the AP. “It just means using what is already in the world. The most sustainable purchase is something that already exists.”

While sustainability continues to catch on with couples in the U.S., wedding spending is nearing pre-pandemic levels.

The average cost of a wedding in 2021 was $34,000, which was in line with how much couples reportedly spent in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic pushed families to downsize events, The Knot calculated.

“When looking at those whose weddings had less than 50 guests, the average day-of wedding cost was roughly $15,000, whereas those with more than 100 guests averaged $38,000,” The Knot wrote in its 2021 Real Weddings Report.

Researchers estimate that more than 1.9 million weddings took place in the U.S. last year.

It continued, “Cost also greatly varies by region, where the South averages $26,000, with cities such as Orlando spending $25,000 on their ceremony/reception spend, while cities like Boston spend $40,000, driving the Northeast average upwards of $36,000 for day-of cost.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker say ‘I do’ in Italy during fairytale wedding

Kourtney Kardashian looked ready to walk down the aisle and marry the man of her dreams, Travis Barker, as she posed for a selfie with his daughter, Alabama Barker, ahead of their star-studded nuptials in Portofino, Italy.

The 42-year-old Poosh blogger wore a long white lace veil — likely a Dolce & Gabbana to match the theme of the fashionable weekend — over her dark brown hair as she stood alongside her fiance’s youngest child before saying “I do” at a medieval castle.

Kourtney and Travis welcomed the likes of nearly their entire famous family, including sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and her daughter Stormi, Kendall Jenner and NBA boyfriend Devin Booker, and, of course, matriarch Kris Jenner to the lavish affair following their first wedding in Las Vegas two months ago, and one week after they legally tied the knot in Santa Barbara, Calif.

    Kris Houghton marries Robert Kardashian

Kris Jenner – born Kris Houghton – married Robert Kardashian on July, 8 1978 at just 22 years old. Although there are not many details made public regarding their union, it was reportedly a big wedding, with OJ Simpson as a groomsman, per the Daily Mail.

Through pictures, it is evident that Jenner initiated the white bridesmaid dress memo in their family, which her daughter, Kim Kardashian, replicated in each of her weddings.

Jenner and Kardashian divorced in 1991. They had four children: Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. The attorney – who represented OJ Simpson in 1995 – died of esophageal cancer in 2003.

    Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner

Just a short month after Kris’ divorce to Kardashian was finalized, she married the Olympic champion Caitlyn Jenner – who was known then as Bruce Jenner – on April 21, 1991. The couple kept their wedding intimate, with their children serving as the bridal party.

Kris shared with Oprah in 2012 details of her second wedding. “It was a very intimate, small wedding—I had such a big wedding the first time and we just really wanted close family and friends [the second time].”

The couple went on to have two children, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, while simultaneously raising their blended family.

During Caitlyn’s proposal, she popped the question in such a surprising way: she didn’t even have a ring. She ended up giving Kris a ring 22 years after they married while on vacation in Bora Bora.

Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Damon Thomas is one that is not often talked about since it was before the “Skims” founder rose to fame.

At just 19 years old, Kardashian married the music producer – who was 10 years older than her – in a Las Vegas wedding in 2000. After four years, the couple called it quits with Kardashian accusing her ex of abuse, which he denied, per Yahoo.

The couple wed on September 27, 2009, and the event was not as lavish as her older sister’s. Kardashian and Odom hosted friends and family at their friend Irving Azoff’s home.

The wedding was also televised for their reality TV show “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”

Kardashian’s wedding was filled with a star-studded guest list, including the late Kobe Bryant and Chelsea Handler. Caitlyn Jenner walked Kardashian down the aisle.

Mom with ALS shares mother-son wedding dance in Florida

Zak Poirier was able to share a mother-son dance with his mom, Kathy, who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) three years ago. His brothers, Nick and Jake, provided support while they swayed to Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind.”

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

In an emotional moment captured on video, a groom shared a dance with his mother who is unable to walk.

Zak Poirier and his mom, Kathy Poirier, went viral after the son — along with his wedding planner — each shared footage of the heartwarming moment on social media.

Kathy Poirier, 55, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) — often called Lou Gehrig’s disease — more than three years ago. ALS is a nervous system disease that weakens muscles and affects as many as 30,000 in the U.S., with 5,000 new cases diagnosed each year, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.

On the big day, April 9, 2022, Zak’s younger brothers Nick and Jake helped their mom get to feet and offered her support so that she could dance with her eldest at his wedding to his longtime love, Anja D’adesky.

SINGLE WOMAN THROWS WEDDING-GOWN PARTY WITH MOM WHO HAS CANCER: INCREDIBLE GIFT OF LOVE

The new husband told Fox News Digital that he and his mom danced to the song “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw in front of a crowd of about 130 guests at Ever After Farms Blueberry Wedding Barn in Mims, Florida.

Zak Poirier shared the video that Daniel Cánepa of Valiant Weddings made after capturing the big day, which shows him and his brothers, Nick and Jake, escorting their mother, Kathy, to the dance floor. (Daniel Cánepa/Valiant Weddings)

“We had planned it. The actual dance itself was spontaneous,” Zak Poirier, 28, said during a phone interview. “We were both pretty adamant that we wanted to share a dance regardless of how long it was. By the time we got up there, we weren’t really sure how it would work — but it went perfectly, and it was great.”

Mom Kathy, for her part, she felt honored that her son wanted to dance with her at his wedding, but she was still anxious ahead of that moment.

“I’m really glad that my mom is getting the attention and recognition she deserves …”

    — Zak Poirier

“I was very nervous,” she told Fox News Digital. “I was not nervous about dancing with my son. And I was not nervous about my other two sons holding me up or getting me up. That wasn’t what bothered me.”

TODDLER RING BEARER REACTS TO MOM’S WEDDING ENTRANCE IN UNFORGETTABLE WAY

“It’s that this was such a milestone in one of my kids’ lives, and it wasn’t what I had envisioned,” she continued. “It was really emotional to have to accept the fact that I can’t stand or use my hands. And that people would be watching me. And I felt like I was going to be judged. But I knew I wanted to do it, and I wasn’t going to let anybody tell me I couldn’t.”

All of her nervousness went away, she said, when she began dancing with her son.

Zak Poirier, on the other hand, said he felt at ease and everything became a blur because he was so focused on the moment with his mom.

“It was definitely a different feeling,” he said.

“With a diagnosis of ALS, it’s got nothing but grave news attached to it,” Kathy Poirier added. “But to be in the arms of all three of my sons was just beautiful. It just made me feel strong.”

When mother and son completed their dance, they received a standing ovation from their guests, according to the viral video shared by wedding planner Roots to Stems.

Guests made sure to share kind words with the mother-and-son duo throughout the night.

“I thought everybody was just so beautiful, inspired and supportive,” said the proud mom. “All that fear that I talked about — you know, being worried standing up there — just melted away because I just realized how everybody was just so just downright pleased with my spirit and Zak’s love. It was just wonderful.”

It shows the groom and his mom, Kathy, dancing at his wedding help from his two brothers. It’s raised awareness about ALS. (Daniel Cánepa/Valiant Weddings)

Kathy Poirier is happy that their viral videos have helped raise awareness for ALS.

“This disease — it’s been over 80 years since Lou Gehrig was diagnosed and there’s still no cure,” she said. “And doctors will tell you that you have three to five years to live. Don’t ever believe that. Because you can fight it.”

Aside from their shared dance, a favorite moment together was the mother and son trip they took to Portugal when Zak was a high school soccer player.

“I was able to bring someone with me and I brought my mom,” he recalled. “For a whole week, it was really awesome to get to experience that with my mom and my mom alone.”

Britney Spears, Sam Ashgari lock down wedding date: ‘The big day has been set’

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Britney Spears and Sam Ashgari are soon to be Mr. and Mrs. as the pair are now set on a wedding date.

Asghari, 28, took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday to wish the “Baby One More Time” performer and his “soon to be queen,” 40, a Happy Mother’s Day, but it was what the actor and fitness trainer revealed after that had everyone talking.

“Also The big day has been set!” he wrote of the looming wedding date, adding, “But nobody will know until the day after.”

On Saturday, Spears had some fun with her social media followers and shared a picture of her pet cat, which she captioned: “It’s MEOW time boys and girls. And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress !!!”

BRITNEY SPEARS SAYS ‘SHE’S HAVING A BABY’

Reps for Spears did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

The popstar announced her engagement to actor Sam Asghari just days after a triumphant win in a court hearing regarding her conservatorship in September 2021, calling it “overdue” on Instagram at the time.

The two met in 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video and struck up a relationship.

A TIMELINE OF BRITNEY SPEARS’ CONSERVATORSHIP

Sources with knowledge of the relationship recently told TMZ that Spears and her beau are in no rush to tie the knot.

In November 2021, Spears doubled down on her wedding-to-be by announcing that famed designer Donatella Versace had been tapped to make her wedding dress.

“No … this is not my wedding dress bahahah !!!! Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak,” Spears captioned a photo post at the time.

Spears’ first ex-husband of only 55 hours, Jason Allen Alexander, reacted to the news of his ex’s engagement during an interview with Inside Edition.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ EX KEVIN FEDERLINE WANTS HER TO BE ‘HAPPY, HEALTHY’ AMID CONSERVATORSHIP BATTLE, ATTORNEY SAYS

“I’ve always loved her,” Alexander said. “I’m always going to love her. If she’s happy with Sam and that’s going to happen, I’m happy for her.”

Meanwhile, this past April, Spears’ ex Kevin Federline also congratulated his former wife on her pregnancy with Asghari.

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said at the time, “He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together.”

BRITNEY SPEARS’ EX KEVIN FEDERLINE’S ATTORNEY SAYS STAR’S CONSERVATORSHIP PROVIDES ‘LAYERS OF PROTECTION’

The former backup dancer, 44, and Spears share two sons together: Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15. The couple was married from 2004-2007.

In June 2021, Spears mentioned that during her conservatorship, she had an IUD in place, and her conservators wouldn’t let her “go to the doctor and take it out.”

Spears addressed the court in a hearing at the time regarding her conservatorship and laid into the legal guardianship, calling it “abusive” and saying it’s left her “traumatized” and “depressed.”

She also alleged that the team managing her and her conservatorship — her father Jamie in particular — has been extremely restrictive over her life and has limited her life in various ways.

The star said that she had an intrauterine device (IUD) — a long-term form of contraception — inside of her body to prevent her from becoming pregnant.

“I wanted to take the [IUD] out so I could start trying to have another baby,” Spears continued. “But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children — any more children.”

Spears’ conservatorship was terminated in November.

Kristie and Bobby Mihelich tied the knot in late April — and their Michigan wedding quickly went viral after their two-year-old son stole the show with a heartwarming hug.

The moment was captured in a TikTok video, which was recorded and shared by Bobby Mihelich’s niece. It has been viewed since then more than 1.4 million times.

Pierson was their ring bearer. He had successfully walked down the aisle at their ceremony venue — the Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

“I was very surprised that he actually brought the pillow … the ring pillow — all the way up to me and handed it to me,” dad Bobby told “Fox & Friends Weekend” during a live interview. “I thought that was a feat in itself.”

“His eyes got really bright and [he had a] surprised look on his face.”

“When the music started and Kristie turned the corner at the end of the aisle, his eyes got really bright and [he had a] surprised look on his face,” the proud dad and new husband recalled.

“And that’s just when he took off and threw his arms up in the air and started running down the aisle.”

Bobby Mihelich added that he could tell their guests had been shocked at the little boy’s reaction — but in the end, “everyone had a chuckle.”

The mom and new bride said she hadn’t expected Pierson’s reaction, either.

She told “Fox & Friends Weekend” that she hoped for the best before she walked down the aisle.

Florida bride allegedly laces wedding food with pot, grins as deputies arrive, bodycam shows

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Florida deputies‘ bodycam video shows a grinning new bride as law enforcement responded to reports of a mass marijuana overdose at her wedding after she and the caterer allegedly engaged in lacing their guest’s food with pot and causing multiple bad trips.

It shows deputies telling catering staff “don’t put anything away yet” after loading victims into the back of an ambulance.

“We all have been affected, somehow, by what was put in the food,” a man, whose face is blurred, tells a Seminole County Sheriff’s deputy in video recorded at a Feb. 19 wedding and released Monday.

FLORIDA BRIDE AND CATERER ARRESTED AFTER WEDDING GUESTS GET SICK FROM WEED-LACED FOOD

“We’re trying to figure out who put it in the food, whether it was a guest or the catering company,” the officer responds, before walking across the lawn to interview the bride and groom.

The bride, Dayna Glenny Svoboda, 42, and caterer, Joycelyn Bryant, 31, have been charged with tampering, culpable negligence and marijuana delivery. They did not respond to requests for comment Monday, nor did a lawyer listed for Bryant. It was not immediately clear who was representing Svoboda.

The bodycam video shows law enforcement confronting the bride and groom after their wedding went south.

“Supposedly your food had cannabis inside of it,” a deputy can be heard telling the couple as the wedding singer is standing with them trying to get paid. “Did you guys authorize that?”

“I have no idea,” replies the husband, Andrew Svoboda, who has not been charged. His face appears blurred in the footage.

The bride is standing in the background, seemingly aloof with a smile on her face. The grin turns into a strained look and she shakes her head no as the deputy repeats his question.

At least 18 people complained of feeling high or ill after eating at the reception, according to court documents. There were between 50 and 70 guests present.

Danya Svoboda, 42, the bride and Joycelyn Bryant, 31, the caterer, both face a number of charges including tampering, culpable negligence and delivery of marijuana.  (Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.)

According to court documents, one victim, Miranda Cady, told investigators that she saw Bryant placing spoonfuls of what looked like a green herb mixture into olive oil for the bread. It smelled like pot, but lost its scent once mixed with the oil. She said she recognized the caterer from a prior event in January.

When she confronted Svoboda on the dance floor, the bride allegedly admitted to lacing the food and “acted like [she] should be excited as if she were given a gift.” She also told investigators she was “terrified” at how the food made her feel and showed them a positive marijuana test.

All 10 people seated at her table discussed feeling the drug’s effects the next day in a group text, she told investigators. Other alleged victims included a half-dozen relatives of the bride who had traveled in from Michigan and the newlyweds’ neighbor.

One questionable dish the victims shared in common was the bread and olive oil appetizer.

Authorities later tested food dumped on a neighbor’s lawn nearby and found traces of THC in the lasagna as well, the documents state.

Christopher Baumann, who lives near the wedding venue, told Fox News Digital Monday that his security cameras recorded an unidentified woman dumping trash on his property on the evening on the nuptials.

“We found what looked like some food leftover and stuff, it looked like a lot of dessert…salad, some kind of pasta, dumped in our front lawn,” he said.

He said he was not sure who the woman was but that he did not believe her to be Svoboda or Bryant.

Baumann and his wife reached out to the homeowners association and were told to contact police. Police referenced their video in the warrants and said they tested some of the food and found THC, the active ingredient of marijuana, present.

The gated community, known as The Springs, was built in the 1970s and is rife with nature trails and wild animals, Baumann said. He has lived there for about two years and said this was the first trouble he’s seen stemming from a wedding at the clubhouse.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of anything… this is not a neighborhood that has that kind of stuff going on,” he said.
