PARIS (WLBT) – A former Ole Miss track athlete has increased the medal count for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
On Monday, Sam Kendricks earned a silver medal in the men’s pole vault final, clearing the bar at 5.95 meters. This after qualifying for this third Olympic appearance, making him only the third athlete in U.S. history to qualify three times in the men’s pole vault.
