JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Two Mississippi teams are getting ready to go dancing after making it into March Madness.

For the first time since 2019, the Ole Miss Rebels will compete in the NCAA Tournament.

The Rebels, ranked No. 6 in the South Region, will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to face the winner of San Diego State vs. North Carolina.

Ole Miss finished the season 22-11 and will play in round one of the tournament on Friday, March 21.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are going dancing in March Madness for the third straight year.

The Bulldogs ended the season 21-12 and are ranked No. 8 in the East Region.

They will take on No. 9 Baylor in Raleigh, North Carolina for round one of the tournament on Friday, March 21.
