JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A man was taken into custody less than four minutes after an armed robbery happened at a Jackson Family Dollar.

This according to Jackson Police Precinct 2 Captain Julian Lonie.

The robbery happened at the Family Dollar in the Westland Plaza off Robinson Rod Road Friday morning.

According to JPD, the suspect, a man in his early 20s, was captured near a Dollar General just down the street from the Family Dollar.
