WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – Four storm victims killed during the severe weather on Saturday have been identified.

According to Walthall County Coroner Chris Blackwell, victims include 7-year-old Carter Young, 42-year-old Jeffery Irvin, and 34-year-old Gabrielle Pierre.

A fourth victim, 90-year-old Wilford Robinson Sr., was later confirmed to have died of Saturday’s storms as well, Blackwell told WLBT.

In all, seven people died as a result of Saturday’s storms, while hundreds of others were displaced after multiple tornadoes ripped across the state.

Gov. Tate Reeves has declared a state of emergency.
