MHP investigating after child hit by car in Attala County
ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT/BreezyNews) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating an incident after a child is in serious condition after being hit by a car.
The child was struck by a vehicle on Highway 43 North near Black Jack Road in Attala County at approximately 3:40 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded quickly, and EMS arrived shortly after.
The child was transported by ambulance to Baptist-Attala Emergency Department to be airlifted for further treatment.
The child’s condition is reportedly serious.
MHP is in charge of this ongoing investigation.
