DURANT, Miss. (WLBT) – The Durant Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Renasant Bank ATM located at 381 N. W. Depot Street, early morning Friday.

At approximately 5:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Renasant Bank ATM.

An unidentified suspect approached a man using the ATM, pointed a gun at him, and demanded cash.

The suspect then ordered the victim to drive him to a certain location.

Upon arriving at the location, the suspect ordered the victim to leave the vehicle. The suspect then took the vehicle and drove off.

The victim was not physically harmed during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt, black sweat pants with red designs, and colorful sneakers.
