KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WLBT) – A husband was killed during a dispute with his wife, police say.
The incident occurred in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on Thursday afternoon.
According to Kosciusko Police Chief Greg Collins, officers were dispatched to the Baptist Attala Emergency Room around 1 p.m.
There, authorities were told that a man, 31-year-old Markquarious Jones, had received a gunshot wound during a domestic issue with his wife, 25-year-old Semyia Jones.
He was later pronounced dead.
Semyia is charged with murder and was booked into the Leake County Jail on a $1 million bond.
