JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A mother has been charged with kidnapping after an Endangered Child Alert was issued for her four and five-year-old sons.
On Friday, an Endangered Child Alert was issued for 5-year-old Montravious Rattler and 4-year-old Jatavis Rattler. They were reportedly found safe later that day.
According to the Jackson Police Department, JPD began investigating the day prior.
The grandmother of the two brothers, who is also the custodial guardian of both the victims, reported that Montravious and Jatavis had allegedly been kidnapped by their biological mother, 25-year-old Montreanna Rattler.
Several hours after the alert had been issued, Montreanna brought both victims to JPD Headquarters.
