PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WTOK) – Update: The name of jockey who died Wednesday at the Neshoba County Fair has been released.
Coroner Myron Williams said 52-year-oild Jarrod Deschamp, of Kiln, Miss., died of apparent respiratory complications, after completing a race.
Deschamp was a very experienced rider and had earned over $6.7 million in earnings in a career that dates back to 1989.
