RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating after an 18-wheeler overturned on Highway 49.
According to MHP, the driver was headed southbound on the highway near Myers Road on Tuesday when the vehicle tipped over.
WLBT was at the scene.
MHP says the driver did not sustain any injuries.
Both southbound lanes are currently closed while crews work to clear the road.
MHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
