10-year-old dies after being shot in head, family says

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A child died Monday after being shot in the head in Cleveland’s St. Clair-Superior neighborhood, according to his family.

Family members of 10-year-old Cayden Williams said he was the victim of an accidental shooting.

Cleveland EMS crews took Williams to UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, where family said he later died.

The shooting took place in the area of East 77th Street near Donald Avenue.
