On Friday, U.S. District Judge Kristi Johnson granting motions to continue the sentencings for Eric Gilkey and Andrew Grant.
Grant and Gilkey are two former Canton aldermen who entered guilty pleas in connection with the scheme, which took place in 2016 and 2017.

Johnson said in a docket entry that no additional extensions would be granted “absent extraordinary circumstances.”
Grant and Gilkey allegedly accepted bribes from Rudy Warnock in exchange for their support for lucrative engineering contracts.
Bribe money was also funneled through their re-election bids to a former CMU commissioner, Cleveland Anderson, also in exchange for supporting millions of dollars in engineering contracts for Warnock & Associates.
On Wednesday, Warnock was sentenced to 144 months in prison for his role in the scheme. That same day, Anderson received 84 months.
