JFD investigates Northside Drive house fire
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Jackson Fire Department battled a house fire Wednesday afternoon.
JFD units responded to reports of the fire at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The fire was located at 415 East Northside Drive, with crews blocking the road from Normandy Drive to Meadow Ridge Drive.
According to JFD Division Fire Chief Charles Felton, units on the scene said both smoke and flames were coming from the structure and that all occupants of the house were outside.
Once the fire was extinguished, the cause of the flames could not be determined and so a fire investigator was requested.
Following the investigation, Felton said this fire will be classified as accidental.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
