Gluckstadt Police investigating out-of-state suspect after middle school receives threat
GLUCKSTADT, Miss. (WLBT) – The Gluckstadt Police Department is investigating a phone threat toward Germantown Middle School.
The department says that officers were on campus Monday afternoon, along with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
On Tuesday, Gluckstadt PD stated that they believe they have identified a suspect, a former student who now lives out of state.
The department also stated that it is working with authorities in that state, and that criminal charges are forthcoming.
They continued to say, “The Gluckstadt Police Department takes threats involving schools extremely seriously. We will continue to thoroughly investigate these incidents and pursue charges against anyone responsible.”
