Election Results

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Polls have now closed in Tuesday’s election.

A special election was held for State Senate District 26, with seven candidates vying to fill Mayor John Horhn’s former seat.

Voters in Hinds County also went to the polls to select a new coroner, with the retirement of the previous coroner, Sharon Grisham-Stewart.

Other races include a supervisor and a judge’s race in Rankin County and a judge’s race in Madison County.
