JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -A refreshing change has arrived across Central Mississippi as drier, less humid air settles into the region. Expect mostly dry weather through Friday with highs in the lower to middle 80s and comfortable overnight lows in the 60s, with a few cooler spots dipping into the upper 50s. Humidity levels will remain much lower than recent days, making for pleasant mornings and evenings.

The pattern begins to change over the weekend as Gulf moisture returns. Humidity will increase, and scattered showers and thunderstorms will become more common Saturday through Monday, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.

Enjoy the comfortable weather through the end of the workweek, because warmer, more humid, and wetter conditions are expected to return by the weekend.
