Cold Weather Remains
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Dry weather should persist after the cold rain we have been dealing with all night. We will dry out before the morning commute, but it will be very cold. Tuesday will start with lows in the mid-30s and end with highs in the mid-40s. Wednesday afternoon will be slightly warmer, but we do expect temperatures to be well below freezing in the morning, in the mid to upper 20s. The middle of the week will be dry.
By Thursday, get the umbrellas back out. Rain coverage will increase again as early as the morning commute, and the rest of the day will look similar to today. A few more showers will be possible on Friday.
A longer stretch of dry conditions is expected for the weekend and the start of next week. With a return of sunshine and a change in wind flow, highs will climb back to near normal in the low 60s.
