Longtime drummer for country musician Kane Brown, Kenny Dixon, died on Saturday at age 27.

The band confirmed the news in a statement to Fox News Monday that Dixon was killed in a car accident, but it’s unclear at this time where the incident took place.

“It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we confirm we lost our drummer Kenny this weekend in a tragic car accident,” the band’s statement reads. “Kenny was a member of our family from the very beginning and our hearts are with his (fiancée) Sarah, his son, and everyone who knew and loved him. He was truly one of the greatest and kindest people on and off stage we’ve ever known.”

Brown himself took to Instagram shortly after the news broke to mourn the loss of his friend and bandmate.

“Love you so much dude!!! You started all of this with me from the start in 2015 when no body else believed we would make it out of Chattanooga playing for 500 people and your last show was in a Fn Stadium my guy,” Brown captioned a photo of him and Dixon on stage. “I know u will be watching over us with that red neck accent that we all love and you will never be replaced bro!!! I promise u that!!”

Dixon was set to marry fiancee Sarah Hendrick, with whom he shared 3-year-old son, Levi, on Nov. 30, according to People magazine. She too took to Instagram to express her sadness at the loss of the drummer.

“I’m at a loss of words. I don’t even know how to write this or ever thought I would have to. Kenny passed away last night in a car accident. I know I have to be strong for Levi and God is gonna pull us through this,” she captioned a series of images of their family. “We have a forever guardian angel watching above us now. Please keep Levi, my family, and Kenny’s family in your prayers.”

Brown and his band are scheduled to play a sold-out show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 18.

“The connection to our fans is our highest priority and through our engagement they have made it clear that the banner shouldn’t be part of their Kings game experience,” Michael Altieri, senior vice president of marketing, communications, and content for the Kings and AEG Sports said, according to the Los Angeles Times. “We didn’t see an issue in covering it for our games and in fact see it as an opportunity to show our fans that we hear them.”

The Kings covered Swift’s banner, which was raised in 2015, on Saturday for their home opener against the Nashville Predators. Following the 7-4 win, Twitter decided to connect the dots.

“We are undefeated when the Taylor Swift banner is covered up!” the Kings’ mascot, Bailey, tweeted.

“@LAKings are 1-0 this season when the Taylor Swift banner has been covered,” another posted.

The wife of “Hamilton” star Miguel Cervantes took to Twitter Sunday to announce the heartbreaking death of their 3-year-old daughter who suffered from a severe form of childhood epilepsy, according to reports.

“Adelaide left us early Saturday,” Kelly Cervantes wrote in a caption above a picture of an empty child’s bed with stuffed animals near the foot.  “She went peacefully in my arms, surrounded by love. Finally,  she is free from pain seizures but leaves our hearts shattered.  We love you so much  Adelaideybug and forever after.”

People magazine reported that Adelaide had her first seizure at about 7 months old and was eventually diagnosed with Infantile Spasms.

Miguel told ABC 7 Chicago earlier this month that his family was working to bring awareness about epilepsy. Kelly posted about the family’s journey on her blog, Inchstones. They also worked to raise money for “My Shot at Epilepsy.”

“I’m never going to ask why these things happen and oh, I’d give away all that I have to have Adelaide here,” he told People.  “But without her condition, we would have never met the strong and amazing people we are surrounded by right now. We have been giving this platform to talk about Infantile Spasms and epilepsy. And we have been given this platform to tell people about Adelaide. And that’s exactly what we intend to do.”

ABC 7 reported that Miguel was “handpicked” by Lin Manuel Miranda to play the lead role of Alexander Hamilton.

Tom Ford,  one of the world’s most recognizable fashion designers, said in an interview on Thursday that he was once slapped by a woman outside a posh Beverly Hills hotel over a broken heel.

“I had a woman slap me one time because her shoe heel broke,” he said. “She took it so personally. I was standing in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel waiting to get into a car, and a woman came up and slapped me and said, ‘I bought your shoes and wore them to an event, and the heel broke and I looked like a complete fool.’ She thought I had decided to personally ruin her night by making that heel break. It was scary.”

Ford was at the Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference and was interviewed by actress Julianne Moore. The designer last month held a runway show in New York where he introduced his spring 2020 collection.

The actress/dancer/singer revealed on Instagram Saturday that her beloved Cavalier King Charles spaniels died last month.

Hough, 31, did not say what caused the death of her dogs. She adopted Lexi in 2008 and Harley in 2011.

Her husband, Brooke Laich, also wrote a tribute to the pups.

“Their tragic passing has left my wife and I heartbroken. Lexi and Harley were not just pets to us, they were our children, and we loved them as such,” he wrote in part.

Joe and Teresa Giudice pleaded guilty in 2014 to three counts of bankruptcy fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. Joe also pleaded guilty to one count of failing to file a tax return.

Teresa was sentenced in October 2014 to 15 months in prison and was released in December 2015. Joe has been held by immigration officials since he completed his 41-month prison term this past March. A judge ruled in October 2018 that he would be deported to his native Italy upon completion of his prison sentence.

Joe has said he came to the U.S. as an infant and wasn’t aware he wasn’t an American citizen.
