The extension includes $22 million guaranteed to the 29-year-old running back, who was the Saints’ third-round pick (67th overall) of the 2017 NFL draft. Kamara has gone on to be a five-time Pro Bowl selection.
The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said the contract extension also allows the Saints to save roughly $18 million on the 2025 salary cap.
